xDrip
xDrip is the reference open source diabetes app for Android: it collects data from a wide range of CGM sensors and sources, uploads to Nightscout and can also follow your Nightscout site. Actively developed by the community, it offers alarms, smartwatch integration, calibrations, statistics and much more.
Select the Nightscout Follower data source and type your Nightscout URL:

For a secured site add the token and @ before:

AAPSClient
AAPSClient is the open source follower app for AndroidAPS users: it displays the loop status (glucose, IOB, COB, basal) from Nightscout. Ready-to-install APKs are available from the releases page; only for remote controlling AAPS (sending treatments and commands to the looping phone) do you need to build AAPSClient yourself, like AndroidAPS.

Spike (legacy)
Spike was an open source iOS CGM app with Nightscout follower mode. The project is legacy and not maintained anymore; installation is no longer practical. Use xDrip4iOS instead.
xDrip4iOS
Open source iOS CGM app (GitHub) supporting many sensors, with Nightscout upload and follower modes, alarms and Apple Watch support.
Set xDrip4iOS to follower mode and enable Nightscout, type your Nightscout URL. If you’re using a secured Nightscout site, enter your token in the matching field.

Important limitation
Sugarmate doesn’t allow Nightscout as a data source if you included bridge in ENABLE.
If you need this data source: enable obscuration variables.
Commercial app: add Nightscout as a data source and type your Nightscout URL.
